A need was identified to promote improved training for those providing care and treatment for Eating Disorders. We are very proud to work alongside the NHS on the EEATS website, which was developed to address this need and improve the service offering throughout Scotland.
NHS Education Scotland (NES) have supported the development of a curriculum and an accreditation system for multi-disciplinary training across the age range in Eating Disorders. We worked in partnership with the Steering Group, to translate their Accreditation Course in Eating Disorders into an online training and accreditation system.
The end result is a multi-purpose website which incorporates front-end course information for practitioners, and a secure course participation area with verified participant registration, course management modules for tutors, and an updatable online examination and accreditation database.
